General Lee 69 Charger with Flowmaster 40's
Exhaust system: 2.5" dual with Flowmaster 40's is way to loud for me! Resonates badly from interior and is loud enough to anger the neighbors just getting out of the driveway. I've switched to Flowmaster 50 SUV and will post results here soon. Still sounds great but interior sound level is much improved!
General Lee 69 Charger flowmmaster & Magnaflow
69 Charger General Lee exhaust with Flowmaster 50 suv mufflers and 14" Magnaflow 4" dia. resonators upstream of the FM's cut down the resonance to nearly ZERO! A small mellowing of the external exhaust note is detectable, but the big difference is inside! Internal resonance is nearly completely gone throughout the rpm range... So much nicer to drive now, no more itchy brain and no headache from long freeway drives. This combo is still a non restrictive setup without the FM's chambered resonating racket, almost sounds "Borla" like in tone. This came from Modern Muffler in Sunnyvale Ca, the propriator Steve Parker took fantastic care of me and put this amazing system together for my demanding taste in car audio! Brent has been building this car by himself over a period of 11 years since the purchase. This is the first time the motor has been running in the car. 528 hemi built by indy cylinders heads pushing around 750 hp and 650 torque!
